These paintings provide an aboriginal experience for the viewer who is in fascinated by the wonder and beauty of the natural world, in relationship to its unseen dimensions. My work leans on the mystery of form emerging out of chaos, without controlling it. But sitting with it, with organic expressions. Each piece moves through a process of chaos and formation—from the habit to control toward surrender, alignment, and recognition. What comes through courageous movement, feels received, appearing almost accidental rather than constructed or pre-planned. The process is layered. A painting may be reworked several times before it shows what’s true. Blue often returns in my work as a grounding presence.
